Air Conditioner Guide

It is known that we accept many inventions as due things not getting deep into who and when invented them for us. It would be fair to say that modern people have become very demanding and even capricious. Who can imagine a single day without a mobile phone, public and private means of transport, let alone saying about business electricity? Probably some would agree that thoughts about people living in the past being not so smart as we are, occasionally occurs to our mind. But to be sincere with ourselves, we mainly use advanced inventions of the devices and appliances first sketched centuries ago. What is more complicated in your opinion? To invent something completely new or adjust and advance it? Any answer is correct because every person has the right on his own opinion.

Let's consider the air conditioner. The first idea of cooling the air came to Dr. John Gorrie not because this was the last thing he didn't have for his comfort. He was concerned about rapid spread of malaria and ways to slow it down in hospitals. Air conditioner in its close shape to the present day one was invented at the beginning of the 20th century by Willis Carrier. Since then the era of the air conditioner has started. Besides the original air conditioner, which function was to cool the air has been transformed into a multi functioning appliance serving as a heater as well. For example, split air conditioner separates the hot side from the cold side of the air conditioner and is used for zoning, heating and cooling rooms. There is also a car air conditioner and home air conditioner. You can't just "turn off" your habit of living with comfort and leave it at home, especially for those who treat their car as their business card.

An air conditioner unit doesn't simply cools or heats the air, it is to control humidity, purity and motion of the air in the closed area independent on the weather conditions outside. We are used to the idea to have the appliances we use,  in the mobile version, meaning that they can be carried easily everywhere. And air conditioners are not the exception. That is why the idea of a mobile air conditioner is very popular nowadays for those who travel a lot and still want to feel comfortable in the heat. You can selectively cool or heat different rooms, whereas with wall or window conditioners you can cool or heat only one premises. This can be extremely convenient when you often go to the country and do not want to install the conditioner both at home and at your country house.

Probably you have paid attention that many air conditioners are installed in windows and derive their name from this feature by being called window air conditioner. When it is there, the window air conditioner outsources the warm air to the outside. It brings a relief from the summer heat and freshness so much needed in the hot season. But when the first snowflakes fall from the sky, concerns about the excessive heat are substituted by the opposite: how to get warm? The cold winter seems less frightening with the air conditioner heater.
